230 Volt Motor and Speed Control combination for equine dental applications. Includes 1/6 horsepower, reversible M.SR Hang-Up style motor and C.FCT-2CE variable speed foot control that is CE marked. The motor in this kit comes installed with the special Heavy Duty, Square Drive S-10827-NC Non-Conductive inner shaft and S-10801-NC special Heavy Duty, NON-CONDUCTIVE outer sheath.

Components:
1. Series SRH Motor: The 1/6 hp, ball bearing, hang-up style M.SRH runs in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 RPM. It offers substantially more power than any of our older universal motors - 66% more than Series CC and 33% more than Series S and old SR motors. It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging and a Heavy Duty, Non-Conductive square drive shaft and outer sheath for connecting to Foredom’s special square drive handpieces.

The S-10827-NC is a special 63-13/16" long, square drive inner shaft with plastic, non-conductive coupling and the S-10801-NC is a special longer, heavy duty sheath with plastic non-condutive connectors. Together they prevent the flow of stray current through the shaft and down into the handpiece. They were developed by our engineers for equine dentists and other users with similar applications. Standard key tip shafts and sheaths are 39" long and have metal couplings. The special shaft and shaft that comes on this motor fits all Series SR and Series TX motors, as well as other models.

Square drive inner shafts are different from our standard key tip models and must be installed along with a heavy duty outer sheath. Foredom motors equipped with this style shaft and sheath are designated as "heavy duty" and have the letter "H" added to their part numbers. Heavy duty flex shaft machines are considered the ultimate power tools for deburring, buffing, grinding, polishing, and metal finishing with larger rotary accessories. Square drive shafts and heavy duty sheaths connect ONLY to our three 'square drive' handpieces - H.25H, H.30H and H.44HT and CANNOT be used with any of our 20+ 'interchangeable handpieces. The sheathing material is also stiffer and less flexible than the standard type.
Replacement shafts require a VERY light coating of Foredom grease before use. Be sure to unplug your motor before doing any maintenance and never operate your Foredom without the outer sheath attached.We suggest that you view our maintenance videos featured on our homepage before installing this item.

2. C.FCT-2CE Speed Control: Foredom's popular foot operated speed control meets all CE electrical specifications. It has solid state electronics and comes in a heavy duty plastic housing with an extra wide design.
